Order Crystallization Screens: JBScreen Classic
The JBScreen Classic crystallization kit is designed for efficient and flexible screening of crystallization conditions for proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, macromolecular complexes and water-soluble small molecules.
JBScreen Classic Kits 1-10 cover 240 of the most successful conditions for protein crystallization. Their compositions were obtained by examining the published crystallization conditions of thousands of proteins, and then selecting the buffers that were statistically most successful in yielding protein crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction.
The JBScreen Classic buffers are primarily ordered by precipitant type and concentration. The pattern of hits and misses then allows easy extraction of information relevant towards condition refinement: Once you get a hit, you immediately see the effects of the neighbouring conditions. Subsequent fine tuning of preliminary hits is thus much more efficient.
JBScreen Classic comprises 10 kits of 24 unique reagents in the standard 10 ml bulk format.
JBScreen Classic HTS contains the formulations of the JBScreen system, adopted to fit the 96-well format. JBScreen Classic HTS is designed for high throughput crystallization applications using multi-channel pipets or crystallization robots.
Each JBScreen Classic HTS 96-well masterblock is pre-filled with 96 sterile crystallization buffers, with either 1.0 ml (S size) or 1.7 ml (L size) per well and is sealed with indexed cap mats.
