FAQ
Does the EZ-Cut™ top cover film need to be silanized?
No, due to the surface characteristics of the EZ-Cut™ material, silanization is not required. The material has been tested by our users and performs well for LCP crystallization without additional treatment.
Will samples dry out faster with the EZ-Cut™ material as compared to glass cover plates?
No, not measurably. The EZ-Cut™ material is an extremely good vapor barrier, comparable to glass, but much easier to remove for harvesting.
Can I just buy the EZ-Cut™ cover films and use them with my existing stock of base plates and 96-well self-adhesive gaskets?
Yes, just order part number MLCP-EZCTF-50.
