FEBS Advanced Lecture Course – Emerging Insights from Structural Biology into Molecular Mechanisms of Diseases

MiTeGen - Peak Marketing

Start date: May 27, 2025
End date: May 31, 2025
All-day event
Location: Groningen, Netherlands.

In recent years, the field of structural biology has made remarkable progress. The resolution achievable with cryo-EM and cryo-ET has become truly atomic, and together with X-ray crystallography these techniques provide the spectacular insights into the organization of large macromolecular complexes and individual proteins. Structure prediction through AI has become a well-integrated method, and entire cells are now being modeled using MD simulations. These breakthroughs offer unprecedented insights into molecular interactions, ushering in a new era of understanding chemical processes within cells and facilitating the development of novel therapeutics. In this meeting the experts in the structural biology will share their recent discoveries and discuss the future directions of structural biology.

This advanced lecture course is aimed at young researchers, including PhD students and postdocs, who will have the opportunity not only to learn about the latest findings from experts in the field but also to present their own research.
