Can I just 3D print my own lids?
Yes you can. In fact some prototype and early stage DropSaver™ Lids were made using 3D printing techniques. However these provide to be inferior in regards to uniformity, alignment; and most critically, vapor transmission and evaporation rates. For this reason MiTeGen provides DropSaver™ Lids that are micro-machined in low-permeability molded polystyrene.
