    The GraVitri 4°C Humidified Enclosure Module actively eliminates this threat. By maintaining a stable, chilled chamber at 4°C up to the millisecond of the plunge, your sample remains fully protected. Simultaneously, an active humidification system rapidly drives the environment to 90%+ relative humidity in seconds—far outperforming passive sponge methods—to completely halt sample evaporation during the single-sided blotting phase.

This enclosure can be effortlessly installed or completely detached depending on your unique experimental protocols, allowing researchers to precisely calibrate and stabilize active environmental humidification across a customizable temperature range from 4°C to 22°C.

    The GraVitri 4C Module consists of two components, the Enclosure and the External Controller. Learn more below.

    Enclosure for the GraVitri Humidified Module
    The Enclosure (Box) is an insulated, temperature-controlled chamber designed for easy installation and removal from the GraVitri Plunge Cooler system. It features an active humidification module to ensure high humidity is achieved quickly and maintained for the duration of plunge cooling. Its basic design is the same as our standard enclosure, allowing users to seamlessly transition from one to the other.
    The External Controller is an independent, user-friendly control unit that manages the active temperature and humidity settings without adding bulk to the plunge cooler base. Standard fittings and connectors allow the unit to be set up almost anywhere with standard AC power, and for simple and quick interfacing with the Enclosure. Use of a simple, ethylene glycol-based coolant makes coolant acquisition and system maintenance simple and inexpensive and reduces the risks inherent to more volatile coolants and refrigerants. Simple control by a single, pushable knob lets users setup and use their system the same day it arrives.
