Graphene Coated Quantifoil Grids
Puxano Graphene Coated Quantifoil Grids overcome issues with particle orientation, low yield, or protein complex instability. One in five grids is TEM‑inspected to ensure more than 80% single-layer graphene coverage and limited presence of any contaminants. We recommend using these grids when working with challenging protein targets that fail on other grid types. Sold in packs of 20 grids.
Product Information
PUXANO Graphene Grids are Au framework grids (300 square mesh), comprising a carbon foil that contains 1.2 µm holes spaced at 1.3 µm intervals and a continuous monolayer of graphene. The additional monolayer of graphene absorbs proteins to its surface and therefore can help in addressing problems related to preferred particle orientation, protein complex disassembly and low sample yields. The grids have been developed with unparalleled attention to detail and quality. Furthermore, the grids are packaged in an aluminum bag with inert gas to ensure that the grids will stay of high quality for at least 3 months.
