MiTeGen at IUCr 2017

Our team had an incredible adventure to the IUCr conference in India, this past August. We would like to thank all of the organizers, crystallographers, and service members in Hyderabad for making it such a great success.

We appreciate all of the kind words about the impact our products are having on your research, and all of your great ideas for new tools! Keep them coming.

Below is a selection of photos of the great people we met with and things that we saw.

An evening pool-side view of the Novotel Hotel, which served as the venue for the 2017 IUCr conference.

This meeting was a first for our Customer Advocate, Courtney Lysyczyn,  whom many customers interact with on a daily basis.

Great seeing Ruslan Sanishvili (Nukri) from GM/CA CAT at the APS. He lead the development of our VersaPinTM beamline setup tool.

Joyce Frank, our Sales Manager, meeting with Minmin Yu (LMB-MRC). Minmin was one of the lead developers on our CombiPuck System.

One of the lucky winners of a VR Headset give-away posing with Joyce in front of a large molecular model.

Our team was able to spend a lot of quality time with the team from our partner BiotechDesk, who distributes our products in India.

The exhibition was a bustling place, with lots of discussion on our new developments like our NANUQTM, & Cryo-EM Pucks

Courtney and Joyce were able to partake in the local culture, with traditional dresses, henna tattoos and a Bollywood-style celebration.

A local produce vendor on the streets of Hyderabad.

A glimpse of the bustle of traffic. Getting around Hyderabad was an experience in itself.

Golconda Fort was the capital of the medieval sultanate of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The region is known for the mines that have produced some of the world's most famous gems, including the Koh-i-Noor, and the Hope Diamond.
