Specifically designed for high-resolution Electron Microscopy (EM), such as Cryo-EM.
These grids utilize graphene—a single layer of carbon atoms—as a support film because it is nearly transparent to electrons, significantly reducing background noise compared to traditional thicker carbon films. This allows for better visualization of small proteins and molecules.
Available in a variety of substrates
You can choose between several base supports, including Lacey Carbon, Silicon Nitride, Ultra-Fine Copper, and Ultra-Flat Thermal SiO2.
Customizable Layers
Options range from a single layer of graphene to 8 layers, or Graphene Oxide (GO) coatings, which are often preferred for their hydrophilic properties to help with sample wetting.
Mesh & Hole Sizes
Available in common mesh sizes (200, 300, 400, and 2000) and various hole configurations (e.g., 1.2/1.3 µm or 2/2 µm) to suit specific imaging needs.
